Marie Bertrand is a trusted leader in clinical skincare and medical aesthetics, known for her science-driven approach to skin health, longevity, and innovation. A trained microbiologist and laser technician with over 20 years of experience, Marie has helped thousands of clients achieve visible, lasting results by blending advanced skincare science with customized treatment plans.
She began her career with a degree in Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Montreal and a research internship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Washington, D.C., where she deepened her expertise in gene expression and regenerative science.
In 2007, Marie founded SkinScience Clinic, one of Calgary’s first independent medical aesthetics clinics, built on integrity, transparency, and evidence-based care. Her vision: to empower clients with education, not fear – and deliver results without compromising skin health.
In 2018, Marie launched Aliquote Skin, a Canadian-made skincare line focused on clinical-grade ingredients, smart formulations, and skin longevity. Every Aliquote formula is developed with purpose and precision—tested not in a lab alone, but in the treatment room, where real skin stories unfold.
