Bio·Calm Molecular Hydrogel is a lightweight hypochlorous acid hydrogel designed to comfort skin after professional treatments and support skin that feels sensitive, reactive, warm or visibly stressed.
Unlike a conventional facial gel, Bio·Calm Molecular Hydrogel is not intended to exfoliate or deliver an aggressive active treatment. Its purpose is to create a calm, hydrated environment around vulnerable-looking skin while allowing hypochlorous acid, also known as HOCl, to remain in contact with the skin longer than it typically would in a fine mist.
The fresh, non-greasy texture spreads easily, absorbs comfortably and can be incorporated into professionally directed post-procedure care after treatments such as microneedling, laser, resurfacing and other aesthetic procedures, when appropriate for the individual treatment.

What Is Hypochlorous Acid?
Hypochlorous acid is a molecule naturally produced by immune cells as part of the body’s defence response. Stabilized topical HOCl has been studied in dermatology and wound care because it can help reduce microbial burden while remaining compatible with delicate tissue when it is properly formulated at an appropriate concentration and pH.
Despite the word “acid,” HOCl is not an exfoliating acid. It does not behave like glycolic, lactic or salicylic acid and is not used to peel or resurface the skin.
